Betty Lou Orndorff, 76 of Hanover entered Heavens Gates on Monday, May 30, 2011 at Hanover Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born February 14, 1935 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Howard Hoff Orndorff and the late Esther (Forry) Orndorff Schildt.
Betty was a 1954 graduate of Eichelberger High School. She was employed with Hanover Shoe Company until her retirement. Prior she was employed with Hanover Direct.
Surviving is a sister: Nancy Laughman, Hanover; also several nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death a sister; Kathryn Weaver; a niece, Sandra Laughman Graef; step-father: George Schildt; step – brother: Lewis Schildt.
There will be no public viewing.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore Street, Hanover, PA 17331 with Pastor Gary Wilt officiating.
