Obituary
Liliana Nancy Lunsford, 13 month old daughter of Christina Lynn Lunsford of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday, March 16, 2014 in York Hospital.
Born on Thursday, January 31, 2013 in Hanover, Lily was very happy at her core and smiling was her default setting. People were instantly drawn to her smile and loving spirit and she would hold tightly the shirts of those who snuggled with her. She and her family attended Intersection Church and were also active in Freedom Valley and Life Discovery Churches. She attended the Little Voyagers daycare program and had an infectious giggle that would brighten a room. She shared a special bond with her sister, Autumn, who cared for her and watched over her as only the best big sisters can. They were often hard to separate. Lily was just beginning to walk and she quickly learned how fun it was to run away from adults with the TV remote in her hand. In one short year she was able to touch countless lives.
In addition to her mother and sister, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Drs. John and Nancy Lunsford of Hanover; “Grammy” Lyn Becker of York; four great uncles, their families and a loving church family.
The funeral will be held at 10:00 am, on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Intersection Church with Pastors Jeremiah Herbert, Gerry Stoltzfoos and Jeff Deitrich officiating. There will be a private burial for the family. The family will receive friends at a viewing from 6 to 8 pm Friday evening at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover and one hour prior to the service at the church.
