Obituary

Betty H. Richard of Hanover, PA, passed away, Monday, March 12, 2012 at her home.

Born June 23, 1926 in Berwick Township, Adams County, PA, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Fannie E. (Miller) Hull. Betty was the loving wife of the late Wilbur H. Richard who died August 10, 1985.

Betty was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA.

Betty retired after more than twenty-nine years as a shoe inspector for the C. J. Clark Company of North America.

Betty enjoyed sports, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family especially her great grandson.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Dianne M. Jacoby and her husband Robert E. of Hanover, PA, and Kelly R. Fry of York, PA; one granddaughter, Michelle J. Nelson and husband Bradley R.; one great grandson, Jack J. Nelson, and one brother, Dean Hull of Glenville, PA. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard J. Hull and William G. Hull.

A service to celebrate and remember Betty's life will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 19, 2012 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W. Chestnut Street, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Dr. Daniel M. Yeiser officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A time to receive friends and share memories with the family will be held from 6-8 PM, Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, as well as from 10-11 AM, Monday, March 19, 2012 at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Betty may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W. Chestnut Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
