Obituary for Frederick W. Stine
Born on Friday, November 9, 1934 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Horace J. and Irma Humbert Stine. A 1952 graduate of Eichelberger High School, he attended York College and the National Trust School of Northwestern University. Fred served with the US Army Military Police, before starting his 21 year career as a Certified Public Accountant in the Hanover area. His service to the Hanover community included eight years as President of the Penn Township Board of Commissioners, Hanover Borough Council, as well as holding various offices and serving on various committees over the course of his life. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
In addition to his wife, Patricia, Fred is survived by his son, Daniel F. Stine; daughter, Corinn C. McLaughlin and her husband, Tim; step-daughter, Luanne Sentz and her husband, Baron; step-sons, Michael and Douglas Cullison; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by two sisters, Louisa Stanley and Dorothy Hoffman; two brothers, Marvin and Gordon Stine; and a step-son, Stephen Cullison.
A private family service will be held.
