Deborah L. (Senter) Hengst, age 65, passed away at home on June 7, 2022 with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Todd R. Hengst; together they shared over 15 years of marriage.
Deborah was born on April 13, 1957 in Cucumber, WV and was the daughter of the late Clyde and Helen (Senter) Arnett. She spent 27 years working for Utz Quality Foods before retiring in October of 2021. Deborah loved gardening, bird watching, flea markets, camping, traveling, and attending Blue Grass festivals with her husband Todd. She also enjoyed doing arts and crafts with her family, but especially her loving grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Todd, Deborah is survived by children Michelle Unkow and husband Alex and Travis Hengst; and her grandchildren Allie and Michael. She is also survived by her siblings Charles Harrison and wife Ellen, Clinton Senter and wife Debra, Keith Arnett, LaDonna Killinger and husband Arnold, Rita Arnett and companion James, Wayne Arnett and wife Melissa, and Shawn Arnett and wife Kayla; and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Deborah’s life will be held on Friday at 11:00AM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, PA 17362, with Donna Hoffman officiating. The internment will immediately follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hanover. A visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00-11:00AM at the funeral home.
