Bertha Mae Wright, 70, of Hanover, died Saturday, November 21st, at Hanover Hospital. She was the loving wife of Melvin G. Wright for 19 years.
Born October 9th, 1939 in Maryland, she was a daughter of the late George Winfield and Pauline Virginia (Miller) Myers.
Bertha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, Hanover. Mrs. Wright was a member of the Hanover Home Association, McSherrystown Moose and a social member of the Hanover VFW and AMVETS.
In addition to her husband Bertha is survived by three daughters; Karen Steiner and her husband Patrick, Kathy Stockslager and Debbie Sullivan, all of Hanover, a son; Timothy Stockslager, Hanover, two brothers; Kenneth and James Myers of Maryland, eleven grandchildren; Tanya Storm, Jessica Carr, Patrick Steiner, Jr., Mathew Steiner, Samantha Steiner, Christina Baldwin, Shelly Stockslager, Kelley Stockslager, Justin Rorrer, Eric Rorrer and Tyler Sullivan and sixteen great grandchildren. Bertha is also survived by four step-sons Dwight, David, Kevin and Keith Wright. She was preceded in death by two sons; Floyd J. Stockslager, Jr. and Clinton E. Stockslager and a brother Thomas Myers.
