Obituary
Daniel F. "Dan" Pratt, 51, of King of Prussia, PA, loving husband of Suzanne (Shriver) Pratt and devoted father of Ella Pratt passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at home with his family by his side. Born on Thursday, February 4, 1971 in Hanover, PA he was the son of the late Michael Rebert Pratt and Victoria Livelsberger Robinson.
Dan graduated with honors from Hanover Senior High School in 1989. He enrolled and attended Lehigh University in the fall of 1989. During the summer of 1990 Dan experienced a life changing accident which permanently disabled him with quadriplegia. This personal catastrophe did not deter Dan from enjoying a productive and full life which inspired all who had the good fortune to know and spend time with him. He was an active member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity at Lehigh University. He finished college and graduated with honors from Lehigh University in 1996 earning a degree in electrical engineering. Personally, Dan enjoyed tinkering with and using computers and technology of all sorts. He was an avid lover of music, movies and books. Dan and Suzanne, who first met as students at Lehigh University, married surrounded by family and friends in 2008. They joyfully welcomed Ella's birth in 2012, which made their family dreams complete.
Dan worked at Lockheed Martin for over 25 years. He viewed his work as a way to contribute to the security and defense of his country which he staunchly believed gives all of us the safeties and opportunities he valued.
In addition to Suzanne and Ella, Dan is survived by his mother and step-father Victoria and Peter Robinson of Hanover, PA, his father-in-law, Charles Shriver of Oreland, PA, his brother Jeff Pratt and wife Lisa of Abbottstown, PA, and his step-brother Perrin Robinson and wife Laura of Boise, ID, and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hanover, PA at a future time and at the convenience of the family. In the spring, an Irish wake in celebration of Dan's life will be held in his hometown of Hanover, PA...no tears, just beers.
