Julie I. Livermore, 49, of Hanover passed peacefully on Monday, January 07, 2013 at the Hanover Hospital with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Thomas David Livermore who died December 25, 2007.
She was born September 15, 1963 in Hanover the daughter of Louise (Allen) Witmer and the late Robert Ray Witmer.
Julie graduated in 1982 from New Oxford High School and had worked as a caregiver. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, New Oxford where she enjoyed her time as a visiting teacher. Julie enjoyed watching old TV shows, visiting with friends and loved talking on the phone.
In addition to her mother, Julie is survived by her sister, Linda Redding and companion Gary Knott, Columbia, MD, brother, Robert Witmer, Salt Lake City, UT, sister-in-law, Donna Witmer, New Oxford, mother-in-law, Marjorie Livermore, sister-in-law, Patty Bushman and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Gerry Witmer, niece, Stephanie Witmer and great-niece, Casey Lee Witmer.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1170 Kohler Mill Road, New Oxford with Bishop Greg Baughman officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be at the church on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in memory of Julie Livermore to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 2080 Linglestown Road # 104, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
