Toy L. Reed, 90, of Hanover, passed peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 5th, 2009 at Hanover Hall. She was the loving wife of Dallas H. Reed who died Jan. 24th, 2005.
Born Jan. 26th, 1919 in Floyd County, VA, she was a daughter of the late Daniel A. and Selmar (Weeks) Akers.
Toy was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed sewing. Mrs. Reed was retired form the Littlestown Foundry after a number of years of employment. She attended Harvest Time Temple Church, Hanover.
Her survivors include four children; Judy D. Warehime, Hanover, Dewey A. Reed, Sr., Littlestown, Lynn C. Reed, East Berlin and Roy L. Reed, Hanover; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two great great grandsons.
