Max R. Fowler, 75, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s Eternal Care, Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at UPMC Hanover Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Born November 1, 1946, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Max F. and Rosalee G. (Harper) Fowler. Max was the loving husband of Judie E. (Hays) Fowler with whom he shared forty-one years of marriage on May 19th.
Max was a 1964 graduate of North Carroll High School, Hampstead, MD. He was a veteran and served his country proudly as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, earning the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device, and the Army Sharpshooter 14 Marksman Badge.
Max retired in 2016 from Hadco, with forty-years of service as a credit manager.
Max was an active outdoorsman, with a witty sense of humor, and loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his loving wife, Judie, Max is survived by his children, Shawn Fowler of Coatesville, PA, and Heather Fowler of Hanover, PA; three grandchildren, Wyatt Fowler, Graysen Fowler, and Ellie Fowler; and a brother, Jerry Fowler of Hanover, PA.
Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate and remember Max will be held 11:00AM, Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA with the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard Burial Detail providing Military Honors. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00AM, Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the funeral home.

Max R. Fowler, 75, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s Eternal Care, Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at UPMC Hanover Hospital with his loving family by his side.
