Stanley W. Fink, 88, of Littlestown, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Brethren Home, New Oxford, PA.
Born April 28, 1929, in Hopewell, PA, he was the son of the late Stanley C. and Alvera (Garlock) Fink. Stanley was the loving husband of Ingrid H. (Herm) Fink with whom he shared sixty-one years of marriage.
Stanley was a veteran of the United States Army, serving his country proudly during the Korean War.
Stanley worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for over thirty-three years. He worked as the Chief of the Asian Area Operations Branch in the Office of International Aviation Affairs.
Stanley was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Collington Masonic Lodge No. 230 AF & AM, Bowie, MD, a member of the Scottish Rite, a member of the Elks Lodge and the American Legion Post #14, Hanover, PA.
Stanley enjoyed building, fishing, watching politics and was an avid Washington Redskins, Washington Capitals and Baltimore Orioles fan.
In addition to his loving wife Ingrid, Stanley is survived by three sons, William E. Fink of Brunswick, MD, Stanley W. Fink, Jr. of McClain, VA and Richard L. Fink of Frederick, MD; two grandsons, Michael Fink and Charlie Fink; five half-brothers, Gerald Bussard, Willard Bussard, James Bussard, Ron Bussard and Fred Bussard; one half-sister, Nancy Bussard and two daughter-in-laws Beatriz Fink and Doughdee Fink.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Stanley’s life will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Pastor Tom Fry conducting the service. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the funeral home.
Serving as Casket bearers will be William E. Fink, Stanley W. Fink, Jr., Richard L. Fink, Michael Fink, Charlie Fink and Tony Giametta.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
