Sterling D. Sipling, 82, died Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home in York. He was the husband of the late Grace E. (Moore) Sipling, who died December 16, 2001.
Sterling was born August 4, 1936, in Hanover, the son of the late Paul and Katie (Gladfelter) Sipling.
Sterling served in the U.S. Army, and was a volunteer at the Adams County Rescue Mission.
Sterling is survived by three daughters, Katie M. Bardin of East Berlin, Kelly K. Stewart and her husband Jeffrey A. of Wrightsville, and Kimberly L. Wojtkowiak and her husband Jeff S. of York, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three brothers, William, Harvey and Ken, and two sisters, Gloria and Ruth. He was predeceased by seven siblings
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at 11 AM, at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with Rev. Elizabeth D. George officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hanover. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 PM.
