oBITUARY
George O’Bradovic, 88, loving husband of Beverly Miller O’Bradovic of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Rest Haven Nursing Center in York.
Born on Friday, February 5, 1926 in Irwin, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Mile and Angie Petrevich O’Bradovic. He was also preceded in death by six siblings, Jessie Jones, Dorothy O’Bradovic, Emily Palutro, Mary Gallagher, Florence Rottmund and Michael O’Bradovic.
In 1957, he founded George O’Bradovic and Associates where he was the owner and operator until his retirement. He was a US Army Air Corp veteran of World War II and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 56 years, is a son, Terry O’Bradovic and his wife, Shelly, of Hanover; his daughter, Jeannine O’Bradovic of Newtown, PA; a grandson, Sawyer O’Bradovic of Hanover; a brother, Nick O’Bradovic and his wife, Hazel, of Jeannette, PA; a sister, Helen Highducheck of Irwin; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 11 am Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery with military honors being rendered by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
