Glenn D. Chandler, 50, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Saturday, July 20, 2013 at his residence.
Born August 5, 1962 in Reading, PA, Glenn was the son of Phyllis M. (Kesler) Chandler of Hanover, PA and the late Ernest Chandler.
Glenn was a graduate of Hanover High School where he played basketball and attended Penn State University-Hazleton.
He served his country proudly in the United States Army.
Glenn was employed by Hess Corporation of Hanover, PA. He was a member of the Hanover Republican Club and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Hanover.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and traveling to the New Jersey Shore. He was an avid Penn State and Philadelphia Eagles fan. Family was the most important part of life to Glenn. His kind heart and giving manner provided him with many friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Glenn is survived by his two brothers, Craig E. Chandler, Bradley M. Chandler both of Hanover, PA and his sister, Christy L. Chandler of Hanover, PA. He was preceded in death by his brother Scott R. Chandler who died in 2005. He is also survived by three nephews, Matthew and Nathan Chandler of Mohnton, PA and Connor Landaeta of Hanover.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA with the Rev. Jerry Shoap officiating. There will be no viewing.
Full military honors will be provided by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
