Obituary
Born on Monday, September 21, 1936 in Adams, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Albert J. and Lillian H. Raimer, and John W., Sr. and Louise R. Tarman. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Richard E. Hartlaub, Sr., who died in 2007; brothers, Albert C. Raimer and William H. Raimer; and a sister, Anne L. Raimer. A 1954 graduate of William Penn Senior High School and 1964 graduate of McCrory’s Data Processing, she was employed as a secretary, data processor and inventory control associate. Gini attended various churches in the area, and was a member of the National and White Rose Scrabble Associations, Hanover AmVets Post #22 and the Harold H. Bair American Legion Post #14 Auxiliary.
Survivors include two children, Richard E. Hartlaub, Jr. and his wife, Kim, of Monument, CO, and Anne K. Jessee and her husband, Tim, of Glenville; four grandchildren, Christine Jessee and Danielle Flemmens, and Emily and Mark Hartlaub; a brother, John Tarman, Jr.; and two sisters, Kay L. Slautterback and Bernadette S. Livingston, all of York.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on February 26, 2022 at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover. Inurnment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jessica and Friends Community, 1625 East Market Street, York, PA 17403.
