Rebecca Louise Hickman, 59, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Monday, October 26, 2015 at her home.
Born September 11, 1956, in Millers, MD, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Sylvia (Walen) McGhee. Rebecca was the loving wife of Michael Edward Hickman, Sr., with whom she shared 27 years of marriage.
Rebecca was a packer at Utz Quality Foods, Inc. for 11 years. She enjoyed reading, word find puzzles, cross stitching, and fishing (always catching the biggest fish).
In addition to her husband, Rebecca is survived by two sons, James G. Rhoten of Bonneauville, PA and William W. Rhoten of Littlestown, PA, two stepsons, Michael E. Hickman, Jr. of Barlow-Two Taverns, PA and Neil Hickman of Arbutus, MD, a stepdaughter, Dale Sciarretta of Gettysburg, PA, one grandchild, Jayme M. Rhoten, 14 step grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren, and her brother, Paul McGhee of Hampstead, MD.
A graveside service to celebrate and remember Rebecca's life will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, November 2, 2015 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 66 East Hanover Street, Gettysburg (Bonneauville), PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Rebecca may be made to the American Cancer Society, 924 N. Colonial Avenue, York, PA 17403.
