Obituary
On November 17, 2019, Thomas A. “Tom Cat” Gingrich, went to be with his Lord and Savior unexpectedly at home in York County of natural causes. He was 59 years old. He was survived by, and the husband of, Josephine “Jo” (Smith) Gingrich, his wife of 35 years.
Thomas was born and raised in York County, the son of Gerald and Rosemarie (Bowser) Gingrich of York.
Thomas was a heavy equipment operator for York Building Products for 40 years until he retired in 2017. He was a member of the Hanover Moose Lodge and the Hanover Republican Club. Thomas was a loving husband, father, son, and brother, and brought joy to everyone he met. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends, who will never forget him. Rest in peace, brother and friend.
In addition to his wife Jo, and Parents Gerald and Rosemarie, Thomas is survived by a daughter, Alicia Bracken and her husband Matt of Dover, two granddaughters, Aubrey and Brea Bracken of Dover, two brothers, Timothy Gingrich and his wife Pamela of Gettysburg, and Todd Michael Gingrich and his wife Deborah of York. He was predeceased by a brother, Gregory Gingrich.
