Josephine S. “Jo” (Smith) Gingrich, 60, passed Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at her home. She was the wife of the late Thomas A. Gingrich, her husband of 35 years, who passed November 17, 2019.
Jo was born June 19, 1962, in York, the daughter of the late Josephine (Guerri) Smith.
Jo is survived by a daughter, Alicia Bracken and husband Matt of Dover, two granddaughters, Aubrey and Brea Bracken, both of Dover, four sisters, and two brothers. She was predeceased by three brothers.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 9:30 AM, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore St, Hanover. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 42040, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.
