Doris L. Krug, 95, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Providence Place Senior Living Center, Dover. She was the wife of Donald D. Krug who passed away January 10, 2017.
Born October 16, 1925 in Simoda, WV, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Nannie (Mallow) Bible.
Doris was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover.
Surviving are two sons; Geoffrey A. Krug and wife Margaret of Pasco, WA and William D. Krug and wife Sue of Hanover; a daughter, Cynthia L. Shriver of Hanover; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by eight siblings; Verona Harper, Elsie Mallow, Gladys Sites, Brosie, Gerald, Keith, Alston and Worth Bible.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Murphy-Beck Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. 501 Ridge Avenue, McSherrystown. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends and relatives will be received on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. till the time of the service. Due to COVID-19 guidelines and in compliance with health and public safety directives, those attending the visitation will be required to wear masks and social distance.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Doris may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W. Chestnut St., Hanover, PA. 17331 or American Cancer Society of Central PA, 1004 N. Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, PA. 16648.
