Thomas D. Crum, Jr., 80, of Littlestown, died Friday, Jan. 26, at Genesis Gettysburg Center. He was the husband of Maureen (Roberts) Crum of Littlestown for 61 years. Born April 29, 1937 in Johnstown, he was the son of the late Thomas, Sr. & Ruth (Wilcox) Crum. Tom was a 1955 Lewisburg High School graduate and a 1962 Penn State graduate - Altoona Campus – with an Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering. He served in the U.S. Air Force from ‘56-‘60. Tom was an Electronic Engineer for the U.S. government Dept of Defense retiring December 1992 after 30 yrs of service.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his 2 children: Daniel Thomas Crum, Sr. & Sharon of Glen Burnie, MD; Susan Juanita Enriquez & Jose Luis of Three Springs; his 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; his brother Richard Crum of Mt. Union and his 2 sisters: Elaine Fyan of Vineland, NJ and Charlotte Samples-Nagle of PA. Tom was predeceased by his 2 brothers: Ronald & Conrad Crum. He was a 32nd degree Shriner’s Mason Solomon #822. Tom was former president and member of Littlestown Chamber of Commerce; a Good Ole Days organizer of Littlestown and a Boy Scout leader for many years.
Funeral Service is Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. George Heberling officiating. Viewing is Wednesday at the funeral home 10-11 A.M. Interment is in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover. Memorials in Tom’s name may be sent to Forever Love Rescue, P.O. Box 3336, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
