Mary L. Weaver, 91, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care at the home of her grandson in New Oxford on Saturday, January 26, 2019. She was the wife of Raymond G. “Duck” Weaver, who died November 15, 2011. Born April 18, 1927 in Brodbecks, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joshua C. and Hattie J. (Ruhlman) Wisner. Mary retired from Hanover House Industries after 20 years of service, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, baking, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Mary is survived by nine children, Veronica High and husband Barry of Westminster, MD, Theresa Bailey and husband Al of Mechanicsville, VA, Timothy Weaver and partner Terrance Ridley of Phillips Head, Newfoundland, Regina Ernst and husband Greg of New Oxford, Anita Rippeon and husband Brian of Littlestown, Greg Weaver and wife Sharon of Hanover, Kevin Weaver of Hanover, Eric Weaver and companion Karen Hill of Hanover, and Ramona Weaver of Fort Collins, CO; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three siblings, George Wisner, Joshua C. Wisner Jr., and Alice Sheffer.
