Roland P. Carbaugh, 89, of Hanover, passed Saturday, May 20, 2023 at UPMC Hanover Hospital. He was the husband of the late Betty J. (Smith) Carbaugh, his wife of 48 years, who passed August 31, 2002.
Roland was born May 13, 1934, in Hanover, the son of the late Paul H. and Willella (Reed) Carbaugh.
Roland was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Hanover.
Roland is survived by two daughters, Kathy A. Taylor and her husband John of Chickamauga, GA, and Jody M. Boyers and her husband Tim of Abbottstown, a son, Scott A. Carbaugh and his wife Martha of Chambersburg, eleven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Steven M. Carbaugh and a brother, Robert Carbaugh.
Following cremation, burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to, Roland’s grandson, Rev.
