Anna M. Hoke, 86, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care Monday, March 25, 2013 at Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community.
Born July 21, 1926 in Gettysburg, she was a daughter of the late Walter J. and Lola Mae Bluebaugh Topper. She was also preceded in death by her husband of nearly 40 years, George L. Hoke, who died in 1994; a son, Michael Hoke; and three brothers, Clyde, Merrill and Lloyd Topper.
Mrs. Hoke was a longtime devoted employee of the Lucky Spot Restaurant where she was a waitress for more than 30 years. She had also been employed as a seamstress at Hanover Industries. She had a great passion for knitting and crocheting.
Survivors include three children, Stephen A. Hoke and his wife, Holly of Hanover, Cheryl A. Landsperger and her husband, Michael of Spring Grove, and Patrick A. Hoke of Baltimore; two brothers, Roy Topper of Maryland and Bobby Topper of Hanover; two sisters, Betty Anderson and Judy Williams, both of York; and five grandchildren, Christopher, Ashlee, Bethany, Tyler and Juanita.
The funeral will be held at 11:00am Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway,
