Vivian A. Brillhart, 94, of Hanover, passed peacefully Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Homewood at Plum Creek. She was the wife of Lester L. Brillhart who died March 20, 1998.
Born October 25, 1916 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude (Becker) Kopp.
Mrs. Brillhart was a longtime member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. She was employed with Narrow Ribbon Mill, Hanover prior to be employed with REVONAH Spinning Mill, Hanover for a number of years prior to retiring in 1980.
Vivian is survived by a son, Lynn L. Brillhart, Hanover; two daughters, Vicki A. Schuchart, Hanover and Jane Fortino, Hanover; a brother, Reed Kopp, Hanover; a sister Joan Fisher, York, PA; five grandchildren, Cory, Angie, Steph, Samantha and Michelle and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven siblings, Glenn, Dale, Dean, Harry, John, Gertrude and Pearl Kopp.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Brillhart will be held at 11:00am Monday at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover with the Rev. Dr. Daniel M. Yeiser officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be held on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm and on Monday from 10:00am until 11:00am, the time of service, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.
