Services: A service to remember and celebrate her life will be held 11:00AM Wednesday at Victory Free Will Baptist Church, 25 Breezewood Drive, Hanover.
MARY E. WILT, 69, of Hanover entered into God's eternal care Saturday morning, May 17, 2008 at Hanover Hospital after an extended illness. She was the loving wife of Robert E. Wilt to whom she was married over 21 years. Born in Cucumber, West Virginia on May 7, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Lillie Senter Hess. Mrs. Wilt had been employed by Doubleday as a machine operator for 20 years. She was the thread that held her family together and was loved by all. She especially enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and reading. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children James and Christine Hicks of York, Randy and Stephanie Hicks of Jacobus, Sheila Wildasin of Hanover, and Robert and Charlea Wilt of Spring Grove. She was a special grandmother to Corey Hicks, Randy Hicks Jr., Nick Wildasin, Chris Wildasin, James Hicks, Jr., Larissa Hicks, Lennon Wilt, and Grace Wilt and a doting great grandmother to Paige Wildasin, Brayden Wildasin, Josh Wildasin and Peyton Hoover. One of eleven children, Mrs. Wilt is survived by her siblings Thomas E. Hess, Ethel PollyP. Hill, Arthur P. Hess, Carrie. L. Kenyon, Claude Hess, and Roger D. Hess. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law John Wildasin and her great grandson Caleb Wildasin, her brothers James C., Matthew M. and Bobbie D. Hess and a sister Trola A. Halmondollar.
