Obituary
Born on Tuesday, June 12, 1923 in Elizabethtown, she was a daughter of the late Henry Grant Coble and Mae Elizabeth Gainer Coble Garrett. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, William E. Wintrode, who died in 2012; and a sister, Mary Caroline Blettner. Dorothy was a retired employee of Dentsply International, Inc. in York where she was a secretary for many years. She was a member of the Paradise Holtzschamm Evangelical Covenant Church and the White Rose Philatelic Stamp Society.
Survivors include two sons, Lee L. Wintrode and his wife, Gloria and Jay B. Wintrode; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with Pastor Paul Guiliano officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund of Cross Keys Village—The Brethren Home Community, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17350.
