Donald L. Hall, 89, of New Oxford, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Brethren Home Community.
Born December 18, 1921 in Hudson Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Ralph and Bertha M. (Anderson) Hall. Donald was the loving husband of the late Marian R. (Burns) Hall who died
March 8, 2011.
Donald was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Hanover, PA. He was a member of A.A.R.P. and a volunteer with the Hanover Meals on Wheels program for over 25 years.
Donald retired from Aircraft Arment's, Inc. after 31 years of service as an Airplane mechanic.
Donald is survived by two sons, Ralph N. Hall and his wife Billie of Gettysburg, PA, Jon A. Hall of Amherst, New Hampshire, two grandchildren, Renee Gageby of Gettysburg, PA, John E. Hall and his wife Stacy of Biglerville, PA, and two great grandchildren, Gracie Hall of Biglerville, PA, and Jadon Gageby of Gettysburg, PA. He was preceded in death by one sister.
A service to celebrate and remember Donald's life will be held 11:30 AM, Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with his pastor the Rev. Dr. Jeffery A. Sheely officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
