Marian R. Hall, 88, of New Oxford, PA, entered into God's eternal care,Tuesday,March 8, 2011 at Gettysburg Hospital.
Born February 10, 1923 in Almonesson ,NJ, she was the daughter of the late Newton G. and Applena (Stobbie) Burns. She was the loving wife of Donald L. Hall to whom she was married for 68 years.
She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Hanover. She also was also a member of the AARP of Hanover as well as serving as a volunteer for Meals On Wheels for over 25 years.
In addition to her husband, Donald, Marian is survived by two sons, Ralph N. Hall and his wife, Billie of Gettysburg, PA, Jon A. Hall of Amherst, NH, two grandchildren, Renee Gageby of Gettysburg, PA, John E. Hall and his wife, Stacy of Biglerville, PA and two great grandchildren, Gracie Hall of Biglerville, PA and Jadon Gageby of Gettysburg, PA. Marian was preceeded in death by two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am, Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, PA with her pastor, the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey A. Sheely officiating. Visitation will be held from 11-11:30 am Friday, March 11, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
