Obituary
Barbara J. (Reichart) Dusman of Hanover, 76 entered God’s eternal care, Monday, December 27, 2021, peacefully at home with her loving daughter by her side.
Born January 30, 1945, in Hanover PA, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Jeanne Reichart. She was the loving wife of Glenn G. Dusman who predeceased her in 2019.
Barbara was a 1963 graduate of South Western High School, Hanover, PA. She retired in 2008 from SKF where she was a Purchasing Supervisor.
Barbara was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and the Elks Ladies Auxiliary.
Barbara enjoyed having fun and creating memories with family and many, many friends. Some of her favorite places to visit were Myrtle Beach, Sandbridge Beach VA, Ocean City MD, New Orleans, Key West and The Outer Banks. She also enjoyed long lunches with her many close friends. She lived with her daughter, Angie and her husband, and five grandchildren for the last 10 years which kept her very busy and able to make special family memories every day.
She is survived by her daughter Angela (Dusman) Carr of Westminster, MD and her husband Hugh ‘Skip’ Carr III; five grandchildren, Lillie, Nicholas, Shane, Abbie and Alex; one great-grand child, Daniel; a sister Sue Appler; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Donald Appler.
Barbara will be buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery in a private ceremony. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the near future.
