Barbara M. (Hearn) Bollinger, 85, of Hanover, entered God's eternal care Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at WellSpan York Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Born August 17, 1935, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Madge (Hollinger) Hearn. Barbara was the loving wife of the late Frederick G. Bollinger who died February 3, 2009 and with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.
Barbara was a 1953 graduate of Eichelberger High School. She was a registered nurse at Hanover Hospital, Hanover Hall, and Homewood at Plum Creek for over thirty years until her retirement.
Barbara attended St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA. She loved animals, especially dogs, doing crafts, antiquing, and spending time with her family.
Barbara is survived by her son, Erik F. Bollinger of Hanover, PA; and her cherished pup, “Molly” the Bassett Hound. She was preceded in death by a son, Shawn G. Bollinger in 1992, and her brother Jeffery F. Hearn.
A memorial service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held 6:00 PM, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA with the Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
