May S. Hesson, 88, of York entered into God's eternal care 5:17 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2008, at Pleasant Acres, York. She was the wife of the late Clyde S. Hesson who died on June 6, 2006. Born in Hanover on May 26, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Emory B. and Miriam Hazel Adams Schwartz.
Mrs. Hesson had been employed at Revonah Spinning Mills and R.H. Sheppard Co., Inc. until her retirement. She graduated from Hanover High School with the class of 1938. Mrs. Hesson was a member of St. Paul's (Wolf's) United Church of Christ, York.
She is survived by a brother Emory B. Schwartz of Hanover, 5 stepchildren Wayne Hesson, Ted Hesson, Shirley Malkus, Doreen Myers, Neil Hesson, 20 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Mrs. Hesson was also preceded in death by a daughter Sandra J. Clark, and a son Carl Main.
