Obituary
Treva D. Hoke, 103, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Columbia Cottage.
Born on Tuesday, November 14, 1911 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Ferdinand C. and Daisy Wildasin Day. She was also preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Philip L. Hoke, who died in 1987; two sisters, Hilda Kopp and Leah Alwood; and three brothers, William, Stanley and Denton Day.
Mrs. Hoke was a former employee of the H.O. Tour Shoe Company, Jackson Shoe Company and Heusner Cigar Manufacturing. She attended the Trinity Church of the Nazarene and was a former member of the Hanover Area Democratic Club, York County Democratic Club, and the Littlestown Quilt Club. She was a charter member of the Grangeville Fire Company Auxiliary.
Survivors include her sister, Iva Krebs of New Oxford; a step-brother, Pius Kaltreider of Beverly, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.
