Robert “Bobby” Stockton Pond, 73, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the UPMC Hanover Hospital with his loving wife by his side.
Born June 20, 1949, in Hanover, PA, Bobby was the son of the late Clarence, Sr. and Doris (Ford) Pond. He was the loving husband to Shirley Ann (Hotz) Pond.
Bobby was a truck driver for 53 years.
In his free time, he enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, and history movies. He was a United States patriot.
In addition to his wife, Shirley, Bobby is survived by 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. He also leaves behind 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Bobby’s life will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Bonnie J. Whitter & Pattie A. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 9 AM to 11 AM, Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at the funeral home.
