Ralph Donald Raubenstine, 88, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care peacefully on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Chapel Point Nursing Center, Carlisle, PA.
Born January 24, 1933 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph E. and Minnie A. (Hilbert) Raubenstine. Donald was the loving husband of the late Dolores M. (Menges) Raubenstine, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage until her passing on October 29, 2017.
Mr. Raubenstine was a 1950 graduate of Eichelberger High School. He served his country proudly in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955.
Donald was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Hanover, PA. He worked as a Machinist and manager at the former Hanover Wire Cloth for 48 years until his retirement in 1998.
Donald is survived by two children, Robert E. Raubenstine and wife Mala of Hanover, PA and Deborah A. Raubenstine of Carlisle, PA, one grandchild, David M. Raubenstine and wife Lisabet, one great grandson, Axel D. Raubenstine, and two brothers, Clair Raubenstine of Huntingdon, PA and Richard Raubenstine of Dover, PA. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Vivian Swam and Martha Stine.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Avenue, Hanover, PA, with his Pastor the Rev. Dom Aquilino officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA, with the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard Burial Detail providing Military Honors. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 9-11 AM, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the church.
