Michael Allen Shorb, 24, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Monday, October 1, 2018 at his home.
Born in April 14, 1994, in Hanover, PA he was the loving son of Scott A. and Kim M. (Fuhrman) Shorb, Hanover, PA.
Michael was a 2012 graduate of South Western High School. He was employed as an inspector for R. H. Shepherd.
Michael was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Hanover, PA. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time in the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by a sister, Kristen M. Shorb of Hanover, PA; a paternal grandmother, Betty W. Shorb of Hanover, PA, Uncles and Aunts, Kirk Fuhrman and Wife Cindy, and Gregory Shorb and Wife Diane; cousins, Jacqueline Fuhrman, Kenny Fuhrman, Ryan and wife Tessa Shorb, and Randy and wife Amanda Shorb. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Earl R. Shorb; and maternal grandparents, Lowell K. and Doris A. (McGallicher) Fuhrman.
A memorial service to celebrate and remember Michael will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, October 5, 2018 at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 124 Broadway, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Russell D. Clark officiating. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, October 5, 2018 at the church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
