Margaret M. Anderson, 99, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Monday, February 8, 2010 at her home with her loving son by her side.
Born February 22, 1910 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Hensler. Margaret was the loving wife of the late Russell D. Anderson who died in 1976.
Margaret was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Hanover, PA, the Hanover Elks Ladies Auxiliary and a dedicated volunteer of the Hanover Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and the former Helping Hand Store. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, and loved to play the piano.
Margaret is survived by one son, James R. Anderson of Hanover, PA, five grandchildren, Nicole Allen, Kathleen Boyer, Jody Anderson, Jackie Lynch, and Jeanne Wade, and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, John B. Anderson a daughter, Joan E. Boyer, and one brother Bernard Hensler.
A service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 13, 2010 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 890 McCosh Street, Hanover, PA with her Pastor, Father Douglas C. Smith as celebrant. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA. There will be no viewing as were Margaret's wishes.
Memorial Contributions in honor of Margaret may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, 890 McCosh Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
