Services: A memorial service to celebrate and give thanks for her life will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday morning, July 23rd, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 127 York St., Hanover.
Visitation: Visitation will be in the church parlor from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday morning.
Margaret B. Duttera, 89, of Hanover, entered into God's eternal care Sunday evening, July 15, 2007 at Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of Edward L. Duttera, Sr. to whom she married in 1943. Born in Pleasant Valley, MD on October 31, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Della Bish Boose. In the 1950's, Edward and Margaret owned Duttera's Grocery Store, at 312 Broadway in Hanover, she then worked at the Hanover Glove Factory before retiring from Specialty Supply Co. Mrs. Duttera was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church on York St. in Hanover. At the age of 16, she graduated from Eichelberger High School with the class of 1934. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Edward L. Smiley, Duttera, Jr. and wife Prudy of Hanover, 2 grandsons LT. Commander Anthony S. Duttera, U.S.N, Craig Jacobs, 2 granddaughters Tanya Crowson, April Power, and a step-granddaughter Becci Quinn. She was preceded in death by a son William A. Duttera. A memorial service to celebrate and give thanks for her life will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday morning, July 23rd, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 127 York St., Hanover. Visitation will be in the church parlor from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday morning. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The Rev. Timothy J. Kielley will officiate.
