Lillian Anita Coffman, 85 of York died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at York Hospital. A celebration of life service will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Pastor Sandra R. Mackie officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover. A viewing will be from 9-10:00 AM Thursday at the Funeral Home. Born March 2, 1922 in Hanover a daughter of the late Ralph E. and Nora C. [Altland] Coffman, she retired from Danskin Inc. in 1984. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and its Sunshine Workers Sunday School Class. Miss Coffman is survived by two brothers, Merle L. Coffman and Dean W. Coffman both of York; a sister, Leatrice C. Shaffer of York; and four nieces and nephews, Sonja L. Hoke and Janet Dempsey of York, Nancy Hildreth of Minnesota, and Dane Coffman of South Carolina. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph P. Coffman; and a niece, Debra Olewiler. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Lutheran Church, 45 N. Adams Street, York, PA 17404.
