Jesse N. Fetrow, 72 of Abbottstown, entered into God’s Eternal Care Saturday, March 28, 2009 at his residence.
Born September 22, 1936 in Dover, PA, he was the son of the late Millard Filmore and Virginia Mary (Chaney) Fetrow.
Mr. Fetrow attended the Calvary Christian Center, Abbottstown. He was employed as a newspaper delivery person. Also Jesse was employed with Kings Monument, York, Zimmerman Tire, East Berlin and Case Farm Hatchery’s, Brodbecks. Mr. Fetrow enjoyed Nascar, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family especially his sister Alverta every Thursday for breakfast and going for groceries.
Surviving is a son; Richard Fetrow and his wife Jessica, Hanover; two sisters; Alverta Linebaugh and Blanche Hildebrand both of Dover, PA; Niece, Barbara Baker, Dover; two grandchildren; Jessica Fetrow, Gettysburg and Dicie Frye, Hanover.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Ann Fetrow; two brothers; Richard and George Fetrow; nephew Clifford Castle.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jesse Fetrow will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 3, 2009 at Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle Street, Hanover with Rev. Kevin Orewiler officiating.
