Earle W. Clas, 78 , of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Brethren Home Community, New Oxford, PA.
Born February 25, 1933 in Manchester, MD, he was the son of the late William L. and Evelyn (Weile) Clas. He was the loving husband of Shirley D. (Bowers) Clas to whom he was married for 55 years.
Earle was a graduate of Hampstead High School and later served in the United States Army.
He retired as an independent truck driver.
In addition to his wife Shirley, Earle is survived by two daughters, Carol A. Onkst and husband, Frederick of New Oxford, PA, Connie L. Henke and husband, Bill of Reddick, FL, one grandson, Derrick J. Onkst of New Oxford, PA, one granddaughter, Kira A. Fodor of Orlando, FL, one great-granddaughter, Kalynn N. Fodor of Orlando, FL, two sisters, Phyllis Henderson of West Virginia and Nancylee Smith of Manchester, MD.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM, Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
