Betty L. Jacoby,82, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at her residence.
Born November 15, 1931 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Ellen (Snyder) Foltz, Sr.
Betty was a member of the former Lohr's Memorial United Methodist Church of Hanover.
Mrs. Jacoby retired from Hanover Hall after 37 years as a nursing assistant. She truly loved serving in this position and caring for her patients. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #14 of Hanover.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Patricia A. Huff and her husband William F. of Hanover,PA, Deborah A. Bamman and her husband Ricky W. of Blountville, TN, her sons, Samuel L. Jacoby, Jr. and his wife Catharyn M. of Gardners, PA, Jimmy L. Jacoby and his wife Jody A. of Hanover, PA, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Samuel Foltz, Jr., Robert Foltz, her sisters, Mary Laughman, Catherine Foltz and Anna Mae Schreiber.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA with the Chaplain Jennifer Bradshaw of the VNA Hospice of Hanover and Spring Grove officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
